 Soulful Saturdays – monthly yoga workshops

10:30am – 12:30pm @ Snow Yoga studio, Bristol, BS5 6ED

A chance to delve a little deeper into some of the key yoga postures and develop healthy ways of moving, living and being in your every-day life.

We explore yoga asanas (postures), breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation to leave you feeling clam, grounded and ready to enjoy the weekend ahead.

Workshops are suitable for all levels – from complete beginners to experienced yogis who would like to explore a different way of practicing. Class size is kept small so everyone can have the individual attention they need.

I attended a Soulful Saturday and it was yum. May has a very natural ease about her and the class is relaxed and friendly.

May is great at guiding you to a place where you can really switch off. She is sensitive to your needs and wants to cater to you and your body.

Invite some friends round for an evening of relaxation, cosiness, pampering and rejuvenation.Learn about the energy of the season and how we can connect to it to feel grounded and at ease.

I run the session in an informal way – offering guided relaxation, self-care techniques to take home and ways to replenish energy stores and feel fresh and restored.

Includes a mixture of these offerings, tailored to the season:

  • Guided relaxation to bring about calm and allow deep rest
  • Guided meditation or visualisations to replenish energy stores
  • Simple yoga movements to release tension from the body
  • Self-massage techniques to work into tight areas and soften
  • Tips on how to connect to the energy of the season and listen in to what you need at this time
  • Partner massage techniques (clothed) to release tight areas like the shoulders
  • An explanation of organic remedies for the season and how these can help with self-care
  • Mini-facials using wonderful NYR high-quality organic, natural ingredients
  • The opportunity to try out different NYR organic remedies, beauty and health products
  • The opportunity to browse the NYR catalogue and enjoy stress free shopping!

Leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and pampered, having spent the evening in the company of friends.

Not getting enough sleep? Invite your friends round to enjoy an evening of deep relaxation, learn techniques to help you sleep and explore ways to calm your mind and body.

Try out lovely NYR organic essential oils, find out their properties and how they can help.

Go home armed with new ways to aid sleep, NYR samples and a guided relaxation to listen to in bed.

I came out of the Soothing Sunday workshop in a dream – I have not been that relaxed in so long! I’ve had back pain between my shoulder blades for months and releasing all my tension made it so much better.

May has such a soothing presence and knows exactly how to help you to let go of your physical and mental stress. This was the loveliest way to end the week and I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Seasonal Wild Yoga Workshops

Doing yoga with May feels so much more than simply ‘doing’. It feels like being who I want to be…mindful, peaceful and kind to myself.

I feel much more grounded and present within our yoga sessions. May’s classes are intimate and feel really special. The studio space is perfect and May not only leads us in our yogic practice but also gives us snippets of knowledge about our bodies, having studied therapies and anatomy also. Joining May’s class has been my best decision this year and is really helping me to look after all of me.
